Hi guys,

My new Ivy build is randomly BOSD'ing - when it does the blue screen says graphics driver failed to restart.

I have the latest ATI drivers and everything is back at stock speeds and vaults. The RAM is tested with Memtest86+ and all fine.

Spec
Gig x77 ud5
3770k
16gb RAM
120GB SSD M4
ATI 5970 3GB

It happens during general window usage, internet, checking email etc. It can run 3dMark11 without hitch.

It was happening every hour or so but now more frequently. Any ideas? I have the dump files if anyone knows what they mean!

Cheers :(

Hello,

I recently purchased an Asus Crosshair IV Formula motherboard which came supplied with a water cooling block installed. Although it came supplied with the original chipset cooler unfortunately the original screws / mounts to reinstall it have been misplaced so I can't reinstall it.

Does anyone have any suitable screws / mounts which would be suitable for this?

Alternately does anyone have a faulty motherboard, ideally a similar high end asus motherboard with suitable screws / mounts?

Please let me know if you have anything which you think might be suitable.

Here are some pictures of the heatsink:
Currently I have a Gigabyte X58-UD5 with an SSD for my OS. 2 x 1TB in RAID 1 for backup of music etc, and another 2 x 320GB in RAID 0 for more backup (they were spare after my last upgrade).
My new mobo is a Gigabyte Z77-UD5. If if get windows and the drivers installed on my new M4 when it arrives, can I then go into the BIOS, set the mode to RAID and plug my other 4 HDD's in and it recognise they they are part of 2 RAID arrays, or will I have to Ctrl - I it and start from scratch again?

Evening,

Just got my lovely new i7 3770K home, plugged it in to my P8P67 PRO B2 running BIOS v2303 and I have no overclocking features in my BIOS menu anymore. I know I can be fairly stupid at times but they are 100% not there! I was using the same BIOS version with my old 2500k but since plugging this 3770K in they have gone. From reading forums I can see the latest BIOS from Asus isn't compatible with B2 boards for whatever reason so perhaps this new rev has the updates for these missing features? I don't really feel the need to purchase a Z77 board at present as my P67 has all the features I need... or at least used to!

Has anyone else had this or can anyone give me some advise on how I can change my Turbo Ratio like I could previously? My CPU still turbo boosts to 3.9GHZ as it should in Windows so I can only assume this is a BIOS update problem :(

Cheers!
Dan
