Played and loved near every minute of FO3 on the xbox and with New Vegas looking good I thought I'd give it a go for the pc with all the DLC - it was only a tenner from amazon
![]() I quite like the idea of installing some mods but have no idea where to start - either choosing which or getting them to run. I don't want to spoil the game so no silly god modes but things like more character skins, extra quest and environment stuff like weather and grass sound ideal. Oh and finding something special in that case in front of the nuked vault door would be nice! Took me ages to get the marker on the map and about 300 radaway's but was seriously dissapointed the 2 dead guys in front of the door had nothing exciting to steal. Anyone help me out or share some experiences? |

It's simple - it all goes through games for windows live.
You buy (with microsoft points) you chosen add on click install and it downloads and install. Simples! (que the meerkat!) It just put a marker on the map - you go to it and it fires up the sub story. I think all the DLCs are good - just start from the first one! Edit- Oh wait - did you get some kind of code with your purchase or is it on the disc? It should be relatively simple either way i think.

tbh i reckon the game is ok enough without mods as i have played it to death without and find its an awesome game anyway, took a bit to get into at first but once I did I loved it as I did with Oblivion.
Possibly try playing it through first and then install some mods after you have completed it and the DLC's because you have easily 100 hours 'ish' of gameplay!

http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/mods/list/ there are loads and loads of mods for that game you should first download fallout mod manager |

I have wondered about having some sort of mod browser on the ps3 version since Unreal has mods now on the ps3. It would be pretty cool just to have the ability the download mods. But more than likely that will probably stay a PC only thing. it would be cool to have mods all the same. like in UT3. I still enjoy that game..
