because the DRAM is not 2x +1 UCLK......do 2085 x 2 and you get......4170. it MUST be 2x +1. You got the latest bios for your board ? try upping the VDIMM a smidge too

The only option it will give me is 4169 and does not work in AUTO either.

I also put the ram up to 1.67volts with the same problem.

As for the BIOS, I am running the 0802 version, which is the newest supported by ASUS. There are others but they are beta versions.

I have been looking around and the version 0806 of the BIOS has more memory settings.

Will flash the BIOS tomorrow and give that a go.

I have now changed my BIOS to the 0860 version & still the same problem with the ULCK frequency @ 4379.

I have been looking around and the problem is with the memory multiplier or the lack of one.
It appears that you have to use what you are given.
Not happy now as I have just purchased this RAM & I am not seeing any improvements.

Your only hope is to really run the ram at 2000 and uncore at 4000. This will require higher QPI and VTT volts, but its the only way you'll see a performance increase - and that will probably only be in benchmarks anyway.

With an unlocked multi CPU you can change the BLCK to push the ram to where you want it, and adjust the CPU mutliplier to get the desired CPU speed.

if you bought it for a good price you can probably sell it for a profit

Thanks again for the very quick response.
It does not look like I can get any more speed out of the RAM due to the chip.
Is it worth trying to tighten up the timings ?
As the GT's are doing the same as my standard Dominator's, am I better off selling them & what could they be worth.

you could try tightening the timings, up to 7-7-7-20, if its running at or under its rated speed it should be able to do that
