Default guide to linking 3 fans to one header

as the topic points out.. anyone got a link to a guide on how to daisy chain 3 fans together on the same 3pin header? its my first time trying it so i want to try and do it properly so it looks good if its visible inside the case. i tried searching xs and googling but most of the searches came up with random useless links.

Two of these: http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=496 ?

Might draw to much power from the board though.

thanks for the link but i already know how to sleeve a fan cable and remove 3pin headers, i just needed some help figuring out the best way to link them, i had a little trial run last night and it looks horrible lol. thanks for the pic is that all i have to do to link the fans together is cut the yellow wires and join the black and red ones?

Yes , link black and reds together - These are the power lines.

The Yellow in the sensor/speed control - You only want 1 conected to the header.

You should be able to splice them together with a soldering iron , and it will look neat and tidy.

i like the zalman ones better and ive already got two in my rig, so instead of linking 3 fans together on both of my triple rads ive just done the fans in sets of two

Should be fine. 30W is plenty of power
